KineMaster vs. PowerDirector

KineMaster vs. PowerDirector

Mobile phones allow us to edit and share videos on the go. Two of the popular video editing apps are KineMaster and PowerDirector.

I have used both, but you don’t have to. This article covers KineMaster vs. PowerDirector to help you choose the ideal program.

Quick verdict

If you are looking for a free video editor, KineMaster is the one you need. It has more text titles, filters, and other assets.

If you don’t care about spending some money, PowerDirector is for you. It supports millions of Shutterstock and Getty Images assets.

Interface

KineMaster vs PowerDirector Interface

Both KineMaster and PowerDirector are challenging to use. Overall, I found PowerDirector easier to navigate. It has all the video options at the bottom.

KineMaster, in comparison, puts clip-specific tools to the right. Although all options are visible, the area is small for those many tools.

Hello I am confused with your post as you said PowerDirector is more expensive and deserves it but it is $9 vs Kinemaster $18. Ans there are some other points as well contradicts.. I used Kinemaster for about 3 years old version. I couldn't decide whether I tried something different before updating to new version. It seems PowerDirector might worth to try Thank you for your post. Sage

KineMaster increased subscription price by 410% as of September 1st 2022. It is now $119 USD per year. It's a sweet app for phone, tablet or iPad & it would be great if they made one for Mac OS. I have Final Cut Pro X, Apple Motion 5 & Logic Pro X ... Any one of which is a fraction of what a couple of years of scription to the new KineMaster price. Thanks KM but no thanks. XoXo ❤️
